Boonie is an energetic, sweet-natured boy with a heart as big as the sea. Neurodiverse himself, he is both a sensory seeker and avoider, experiencing the world in ways that mirror many unique sensory profiles—making him a perfect fit for our practice. At the Blue Wave office, Boonie has truly come into his own. He’s confident, social, and utterly shameless about demanding attention. He loves showing off his extensive toy collection, trying to get anyone and everyone to chase him, and absolutely refusing to drop his toys (it’s part of his charm).

In addition to his fun personality, Boonie has completed his ‘good canine citizen’ puppy training (to be a good boy) and is enrolled in a psychiatric service dog certification program, which he has yet to complete.

Beyond the office, Boonie is an absolute outdoor enthusiast. He lives for swimming, hiking, and running, embracing every adventure with boundless joy. Whether chasing waves, exploring trails, or just soaking up the sun, he’s happiest in exploratory motion—finding freedom in nature, just like so many of the wonderful people we work with.
